i think it is probably the best photograph i have ever taken, right place right time etc.
man wrestles with wave...and wins.

wonderful as always! i have always wondered though...how do you get so close to a wave that is coming towards you at a very high rate of speed? has your camera ever had water damage?

i think by "storage disaster" he means, that he didn't beat the wave, and lost the camera haha. Great shot though, and I also wonder, how you get these shots, without destroying a camera. Do u have a underwater case?
